Rob Tobias and The Northwest Express

The most recent band project organized by Rob Tobias brings together some great players to create a sound that blends swing blues, jazz, and soul folk and reggae. The group plays mostly Tobias orginals along with inspired covers of other Northwest songwriters and others.   The songs can be described as roots music with positive lyrics and and an upbeat danceable feel.

The line-up includes: Rob Tobias on keyboard/ harmonica/ acoustic guitar/vocals,

David O'tool on sax/flute, Rich Glauber on bass/ vocals, Ralph Novak on guitar, Nancy Evergreen on harmony vocals, and Sean Brennan on drums.

The Willamette Valley Folk Festival, The Jazz Station, Saturday Market, Art in the Vineyard, The Keystone Cafe, and the Friendly Area Neighborhood Picnic.
